What you need
- 1 double-sided self-standing target
- Tape
- Build time 20–60 seconds
Tape the first pair of diagonal corners
Flip the sheet face-down. Tuck one corner just inside the L-shaped border of the opposite corner — do not overlap past the L, or the paper ends up too short in Step 2. Tape.

Tape the second pair of corners
These don't need to sit inside the L — simply let the two corners touch, then tape. Add a second piece of tape for durability.

Shape and check
Gently pull the corners to pop out any dents. Looks good? You're done — or continue to Step 4.

Lock it down (optional)
Fold along the horizontal dashed line and both side edges so the target holds its stance. Outdoor tip: drop rocks, pebbles, or twigs into the open back to keep it from blowing away (keep a safe distance).

Done — your self-standing paper target is up.
